Membership
Individuals can become members by submitting the prescribed application form at any branch of the society. The application must include KYC documents such as Aadhaar Card and PAN Card.
Eligibility for Membership
- Submission of a written application in the prescribed form
- Payment of admission fee and purchase of at least one share of the society
- Declaration stating that the applicant is not a member of another cooperative society of similar nature
- Agreement to comply with the by‑laws and regulations of the society
- Membership is subject to approval by the Board of Directors
Persons Not Eligible for Membership
- Individuals below 18 years of age
- Persons declared insolvent by a court
- Individuals convicted in criminal cases involving moral misconduct or financial fraud, if five years have not passed since completion of the sentence
